One person has commented to me that the videos are too short. Most of the films are between 20 seconds and one minute. He suggested that they should be at least three minutes. What do you think?
This was one of my first videos with the digital camera. It was a test with one of the cheap filters on the camera.
I am overlooking La Garonne river in Toulouse. This was a strange time in my life because I had just packed up my life in Montreal only months before this shot. Packed for an uncertain amount of time in West Africa (Cote d’Ivoire and Ghana).
The 10 days in France before departing for Abijan were very pensive and fixed on what the experience was going to be. Nothing could have prepared me for what I experienced over the following 4 months.
Another addition to the Silent Film series. This was taken in Cote d’Ivoire as well, during the very first days of my arrival to the country. This was the view from the window looking down on the pool. I really don’t know what else to say about it.
I would really to know what you folks think of these videos. I always thought these were rough cuts, but after two years I really didn’t want to add anything and just share them.
